It seems like just yesterday that we discussing the new LSs from our class. It is now that time of year to begin a new LS exam preparation course for the 2009 exam. Once again, we are pleased to have our outstanding caliber of instructors that will include: Jim McCavitt and Bill Ming from the Sacramento Office of BLM for Public Lands Kevin Akin and Rob McMillan from Caltrans for Construction John Adam from Caltrans and Sac City College Instructor for State Plane Jeremy Evans from Psomas for Geodesy and Error Analysis Bill Jackson from Caltrans and private for Boundary and Legal Descriptions Kelly Olin retired from State Lands for Water Boundaries Steve Ourada from Ourada Engineering for Laws for Surveyors The classes will be every Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Caltrans Office at 30th and R. Our preparation course can be an excellent part of preparing for the exam. In the past, the number of our students’ successful completed exam has been outstanding and we expect the trend to continue.
